Electrical Site Engineer

About the Role

Algihaz Holding is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to join our team in Makkah, with operations spanning Taif and Makkah. This full-time position involves overseeing electrical installations and systems on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering within a site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on site logbooks and understand the scope of work as per contract.
• Conduct necessary tests and measurements for work handover to the consultant.
• Resolve issues related to electrical systems or devices that arise during construction.
• Monitor and supervise all installation activities at sites, including lighting works, power systems for HVAC, lighting fixtures, panel boards (main, sub, distribution, motor control center), and low current systems, ensuring coordination between all low current systems.
• Implement and monitor Building Management System (BMS) works to coordinate mechanical and electrical operations.
• Supervise technicians regarding technical requirements during cable termination, tagging, ferruling, and cable dressing as per approved drawings, to maintain quality.
• Assist the site testing team with their requirements for timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate with electrical QA/QC for drawing modifications and red markups.
• Attend meetings to resolve issues related to HSE and project progress.
• Report daily progress and work status to the consultant and management as required.
• Comply with any official task assigned by the Business Unit Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Site Engineer.
• Proven experience in supervising electrical installations and systems on construction sites.
• Familiarity with various electrical systems, including lighting, power for HVAC, panel boards, and low current systems.
• Experience with BMS implementation and monitoring.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
