Role Overview

Honeywell (KSA) is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer to join its team in Dhahran. This full-time role involves managing the engineering scope for telecommunications and security packages, from initial requirements analysis through to project execution and handover. The position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and business stakeholders to identify, qualify, and develop the TSI opportunity pipeline.
• Provide technical consultancy and define solution strategies.
• Prepare and review proposals, estimates, and technical submissions.
• Support customer engagements through contract award and project execution.
• Manage the end-to-end engineering scope for telecommunications and security packages.
• Conduct requirements analysis, solution architecture, and detailed design.
• Oversee equipment selection, procurement support, and configuration.
• Manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation supervision, and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Provide training, support start-up, commissioning, and final technical handover.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual obligations, quality expectations, applicable codes and standards, cybersecurity requirements, schedule commitments, and cost targets.
• Proactively manage technical risks, interfaces, changes, and escalations.

Internal and External Relationships

The Advanced Project Engineer will collaborate with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

• Internal: Sales, Engineering Excellence Organization & Discipline Communities, Project Lead or Principal and Project Team, GES, COE or other Back-office locations (project team).
• External: Customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in project engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end engineering scopes for telecommunications and security packages.
• Experience with requirements analysis, solution architecture, and detailed design.
• Proficiency in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and cybersecurity requirements.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is responsible for the technical scope of assigned special designs and functions. Site travel may be required for up to 20% of the time.
