About the Role

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer for Telecommunications and Security (TSI) in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals only and requires over 10 years of experience. The position involves contributing to projects that shape future technologies and infrastructure.

Purpose of the Position

The Advanced Project Engineer will manage the complete engineering scope for telecommunications and security packages. This includes collaborating with sales and business stakeholders to identify and develop TSI opportunities, providing technical consultancy, defining solution strategies, and supporting customer engagements from contract award through project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and business stakeholders to identify, qualify, and develop the TSI opportunity pipeline.
• Provide technical consultancy and define solution strategies.
• Prepare and review proposals, estimates, and technical submissions.
• Support customer engagements through contract award and project execution.
• Manage the end-to-end engineering scope for telecommunications and security packages, including requirements analysis, solution architecture, and detailed design.
• Oversee equipment selection, procurement support, configuration, and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
• Supervise installation, conduct site acceptance testing (SAT), provide training, and manage start-up, commissioning, and final technical handover.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual obligations, quality expectations, applicable codes and standards, cybersecurity requirements, schedule commitments, and cost targets.
• Proactively manage technical risks, interfaces, changes, and escalations.

Internal and External Relationships

The role involves significant interaction with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

• Internal Contacts: Sales, Engineering Excellence Organization & Discipline Communities, Project Lead or Principal, Project Team, GES, COE, and other Back-office locations.
• External Contacts: Customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Saudi National only.
• Ability to manage the technical scope of assigned special designs and functions.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is based in Saudi Arabia. Site travel may be required for up to 20% of the time to support project needs and customer engagements.
