Arabian Drilling Co. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Driller to join its operations in Dhahran. This is a full-time position, integral to supporting the safe and efficient execution of drilling projects.

The Assistant Driller Role

The Assistant Driller plays a vital role in supporting the Driller, contributing directly to the safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs. This position is essential for achieving well completion objectives in accordance with established drilling programs and stringent safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of drilling equipment, including draw works, mud pumps, and rotating equipment.
• Monitor well bore conditions to ensure operational integrity.
• Contribute to achieving well completion objectives in accordance with established drilling programs.
• Follow all rig-specific procedures and operational guidelines.
• Actively participate in all safety briefings and discussions.
• Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Work collaboratively and effectively with the entire rig crew.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 6 years of prior experience on drilling rigs, specifically in roles such as Assistant Driller or Derrickman.
• Basic understanding of drilling operations and associated equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform manual labor tasks within a physically demanding work environment.
• Proven experience working effectively as an integral part of a team.

Work Environment
