We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team in Dhahran, contributing to our operational excellence.

The Role of Electrician

The Electrician is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment located on the rig site. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems. Key duties include troubleshooting electrical problems, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and assisting the Chief Electrician with the installation, repair, and maintenance of basic electrical systems. The role primarily focuses on routine electrical equipment tasks under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair electrical equipment across the rig site.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems efficiently.
Perform preventative maintenance on various electrical systems.
Assist the Chief Electrician with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Apply technical expertise in daily operational tasks.
Manage daily maintenance activities and electrical inventory.
Document all electrical work performed and prepare necessary reports.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper permitting for all electrical tasks.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the rig team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry or in a remote work environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of PLC, VDF, and drilling electrical equipment.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of electrical equipment.
Experience performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Dhahran. The role involves working on a rig site, which may be in a remote environment, requiring adaptability and a strong focus on safety. Candidates should possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience for this role.
