About the Graduate Assistant Role

The Department of Bioengineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is seeking qualified Saudi candidates for a full-time Graduate Assistant position. This role is designed for individuals holding a bachelor's degree, typically with 0-1 years of experience, who are keen to contribute to academic and research endeavors within the bioengineering field.

Role Focus and Contribution

The primary purpose of this Graduate Assistant position is to support the department's core functions in research and teaching. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and students, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the educational experience within the Bioengineering Department.

Key Responsibilities

The Graduate Assistant is expected to be available for professional duties for approximately 35-40 hours per week. Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out teaching duties as assigned.
• Conducting research under faculty supervision.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing administrative duties to support departmental operations.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the concerned academic department.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Completion of a full-time bachelor’s degree program with very good grades.
• Certificate equivalency is required if the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
