About the Graduate Assistant Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking a dedicated Graduate Assistant in Aerospace Engineering. This full-time position, based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, is open to potential Saudi candidates holding a bachelor's degree with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on both research and teaching within the Department of Aerospace Engineering.

Role Context and Commitment

The Graduate Assistant will contribute to the academic and research objectives of the Aerospace Engineering Department. This role requires a professional commitment of approximately 35-40 hours per week, involving active participation in departmental activities and supporting the educational mission of KFUPM.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of academic and administrative duties, including:

• Carrying out assigned teaching duties.
• Conducting research activities as directed by the department.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing various administrative tasks.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the concerned academic department.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Completion of a full-time bachelor’s degree program with very good academic grades.
• Possession of a certificate equivalency if the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
