The Role: Lecturer in Architectural Engineering & Construction Management

The Department of Architectural Engineering & Construction Management at KFUPM is seeking a qualified Lecturer to join its faculty. This full-time position is specifically open to potential Saudi candidates who hold a Master's degree and are prepared to contribute actively to both research and teaching within the department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. The core responsibilities for this role include:

• Delivering effective teaching to students within the Architectural Engineering & Construction Management curriculum.
• Conducting and contributing to research initiatives relevant to the field.
• Providing academic advising and guidance to students.
• Performing various administrative duties as assigned by the department.
• Undertaking any other academic duties deemed necessary by the academic department concerned.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following essential qualifications to be considered for the Lecturer position:

• An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related academic discipline.
• Completion of a full-time Master’s degree program with a record of very good academic grades.
• Submission of a certificate equivalency if the Master's degree was obtained from an institution outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time academic role based at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals campus in Dhahran. The position requires a consistent on-site presence to fulfill teaching, research, and administrative duties.
