About the Opportunity

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), located in Dhahran, is seeking qualified Saudi candidates for faculty positions within the Department of Information and Computer Science. The university is looking to appoint an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to contribute to both research and teaching activities.

Role Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. These responsibilities include:

• Delivering lectures and conducting teaching activities.
• Engaging in research and scholarly pursuits.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Undertaking administrative duties as required.
• Performing any other academic duties assigned by the concerned academic department.

Applicants should possess expertise in one of the following areas within Information and Computer Science:

• Software Engineering
• Databases
• Operating Systems
• Information and Computer Security

Candidate Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following academic and professional criteria:

• An earned ** degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Full-time bachelor’s and master’s degrees with very good grades.
• Possession of a certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
