About the Opportunity

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) | جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن invites applications for full-time faculty positions within the Information & Computer Science Department. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our academic team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction. Responsibilities for this role include:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Advising and mentoring students.
• Supervising MS and PhD theses/dissertations.
• Developing funded research programs appropriate to their field of specialization.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• An earned ** from a reputable institution.
• A strong record of published research.
• Experience in supervising research of graduate students.
• Relevant teaching experience at the university level.
• Teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas of specialization.

Compensation and Benefits

KFUPM offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive tax-free salaries based on qualifications and experience. The package includes:

• A two-year renewable contract.
• Free furnished air-conditioned on-campus housing unit with free essential utilities and maintenance.
• Air ticket/s to Dammam upon appointment; final repatriation air ticket/s for up to four persons.
