About Dhahran Techno Valley and the Role

Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV), a leading innovation ecosystem in Saudi Arabia anchored by King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager. This full-time position, based in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, requires 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing. The role involves leading DTV's digital presence across its website, social channels, digital campaigns, and data analytics.

Role Purpose and Context

The Digital Marketing Manager will be instrumental in building a robust online presence for DTV, which serves as a hub where research, industry, and entrepreneurship converge. DTV supports startups and researchers in Saudi Arabia's priority deep-tech sectors, including energy, water and sustainability, digitalization and semiconductors, advanced materials and mining, and advanced manufacturing. This position ensures DTV maintains a consistent, credible, and effective online presence for diverse audiences, from founders applying to programs to investors researching the ecosystem. The role is hands-on, requiring direct channel management, collaboration with external agencies, and performance reporting, working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and across DTV’s multi-entity structure, including the science park, VC arm, and flagship programs.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage DTV’s website, including content updates, structure, SEO, and ongoing optimization across multiple entity pages.
• Oversee DTV’s social media presence end-to-end, covering content calendars, publishing, community management, and platform strategy for LinkedIn, X, Meta, and emerging channels.
• Plan and execute digital campaigns for program launches, events, and announcements, such as venture program cohorts, Demo Days, and partnership news.
• Set up and manage paid digital and social campaigns, from targeting and budget allocation to performance reporting.
• Develop and maintain the KPI framework for digital performance, tracking engagement, reach, conversion, and brand awareness at operational and leadership levels.
• Manage email marketing initiatives and newsletter distribution.
• Brief and manage external agencies and freelance contributors for digital deliverables.
• Ensure brand and tone consistency across all digital touchpoints in both English and Arabic.
• Monitor digital trends and emerging platforms relevant to deep-tech, investor, and founder audiences.
• Collaborate with the broader Growth & Impact team on integrated campaigns spanning digital, PR, and content.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing management.
• Demonstrated expertise in website management, SEO, and content optimization.
• Proven ability to manage social media platforms, content calendars, and community engagement.
• Experience in planning and executing digital and paid social campaigns.
• Proficiency in developing and tracking digital performance KPIs.
• Experience with email marketing and newsletter distribution.
• Ability to manage external agencies and freelancers effectively.
• Strong understanding of brand consistency and communication in both English and Arabic.
• Awareness of current digital trends, particularly within deep-tech, investor, and founder ecosystems.
