About the Role

emagine is seeking a Finance SME Chemicals / Petrochemicals (Downstream) for a full-time position in Dhahran, Eastern region. This senior-level role focuses on providing specialized finance expertise within the chemicals and petrochemicals industry, specifically aligning financial practices with integrated refining-chemicals value chains and joint ventures. The position is equivalent to a Senior Manager or Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture chemicals finance, reporting, and KPI practices across various entities and joint ventures.
• Define product chain hierarchies, such as olefins, aromatics, polymers, and specialties, along with their valuation attributes.
• Advise on cost allocation and transfer pricing within integrated refining-chemicals complexes.
• Define segment and product profitability requirements specifically for chemicals.
• Validate GCOA, dimensions, and governance outputs from a chemicals perspective.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in a senior finance role within a petrochemicals or integrated refining-chemicals company.
• Demonstrated experience with joint-product costing, shared-site allocations, and JV/affiliate reporting.
• Knowledge of commodity and specialty chemicals margin analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the GCC petrochemicals sector.
• Exposure to ESG/emissions reporting within the chemicals industry.

Project Focus

The initial phase of workstreams for this role will involve the Finance Data Model and Reporting & Segmentation Design.
