About Aramco Digital and the Role

Aramco Digital is seeking an Industrial AI Engineer to join its team in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to supporting the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Industrial AI solutions, analytics applications, integrations, and various software components.

Role Overview and Contribution

The Industrial AI Engineer contributes to the successful delivery of Industrial AI products by actively participating in engineering activities. This role involves building foundational capabilities in AI, machine learning, and software engineering, working under the guidance of senior engineers and architects. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and reliable solutions that enhance industrial operations, asset performance, and decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Industrial AI applications and software components.
• Participate in the development of AI solutions for use cases such as predictive maintenance, digital assistants, equipment monitoring, anomaly detection, production analytics, and industrial automation applications.
• Contribute to coding activities, application configuration, and software integration tasks under supervision.
• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines, data processing components, and application interfaces required for AI solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and validation activities to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of Industrial AI applications and assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution activities.
• Participate in integrating AI applications with industrial systems, operational technologies, and enterprise platforms.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and engineering artifacts in accordance with established standards.
• Support proof-of-concepts, experimentation activities, and evaluations of emerging Industrial AI technologies and tools.

Required Experience and Professional Practice

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in industrial AI, machine learning, or software engineering. The position requires adherence to software engineering, development, and testing best practices, along with organizational standards and security requirements.

Collaboration and Continuous Development

The Industrial AI Engineer will collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to support successful solution delivery and continuous improvement initiatives. Active participation in knowledge-sharing activities and continuous development of technical competencies in Industrial AI and software engineering are integral to this role.
