Lecturer in Electrical Engineering

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking potential Saudi candidates for a full-time Lecturer position in Electrical Engineering. This role is based in Dhahran and offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading academic institution.

Role Purpose

The Lecturer will join the Department of Electrical Engineering and be responsible for fulfilling both research and teaching objectives. This position requires active engagement in academic duties and a commitment to the university's mission.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties, which include:

• Delivering lectures and conducting teaching activities.
• Engaging in research pertinent to the field of Electrical Engineering.
• Providing academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Performing administrative duties as assigned by the department.
• Undertaking any other academic duties designated by the concerned academic department.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following academic and professional requirements:

• An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in the relevant field of Electrical Engineering.
• Completion of a full-time Master’s degree program with very good academic grades.
• Possession of a certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
