About the Role

emagine is seeking a Principal Transport Network & DWDM Expert to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This is a full-time position focused on leveraging deep domain knowledge to advance network automation. The role involves providing specialized expertise across various network technologies to enable intelligent automation solutions.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver expert domain knowledge in transport, optical, IP/MPLS, and backbone network intelligence. This expertise is crucial for enabling AI agents to effectively automate critical network functions, including assurance, optimization, and planning. The expert will contribute to the development of advanced automated systems for network management.

Key Responsibilities

• Define operational use cases for transport networks.
• Build AI-agent knowledge models specifically for DWDM Operations, Optical Path Optimization, Transport Fault Management, Capacity Planning, and IP/MPLS Routing Analysis.
• Develop autonomous workflows for managing transport incidents.
• Support the implementation of predictive maintenance and failure forecasting models.
• Validate recommendations provided by AI agents for transport network remediation.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in transport network, optical, IP/MPLS, or backbone network domains. Demonstrated experience in applying domain expertise to automation or AI-driven solutions is preferred.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time role based in Dhahran, within the Eastern region. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team focused on network intelligence and automation initiatives.
