The Role: Senior Billing and Claims Representative

The Senior Billing and Claims Representative is a full-time position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the credit and collections processes within the organization. This role involves managing complex accounts, developing strategic collection initiatives, and ensuring adherence to credit policies and regulatory requirements. The Senior Representative plays a crucial role in improving cash flow, reducing bad debt, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize credit and collections processes.
• Manage complex accounts and develop strategic collection initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Process claims based on services charged by the clinical team.
• Process all necessary claim supporting documentation.
• Regularly update billing systems with the latest claim information, corrections, and adjustments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Generate invoices and update billing status, including Dental and Medical billing.
• Respond to inquiries from insurance companies and payers related to individual patient cases.
• Review incoming and outgoing documents related to invoices and payments.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in credit, collections, billing, or claims processing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and financial processes.
• Strong understanding of credit policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience in leading or guiding a team of credit and collection professionals.
