About Hyatt Place AlUla and the Opportunity

Hyatt Place is seeking a Team Leader Information System to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla in Saudi Arabia. This new property represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region. Hyatt Place AlUla will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, a swimming pool, and a fitness center, appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Role Summary

As the Team Leader Information System, you will oversee the daily Information System (IS) operations. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the hotel’s technology infrastructure. You will also be responsible for supporting all departments with efficient IT services and maintaining operational continuity throughout the hotel.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the IT team.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
• Provide technical support to hotel colleagues and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor the performance and security of IT systems and implement corrective actions when required.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, telecommunication equipment, and network devices.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system maintenance, upgrades, and technical support.
• Ensure regular data backups, system updates, and cybersecurity measures are implemented.
• Maintain IT documentation, system inventories, and asset records.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt IT standards, information security policies, and operational procedures.
• Support pre-opening IT setup and operational readiness for the new hotel.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in information systems or a related technical field. The position requires an individual capable of managing IT operations and supporting a new hotel opening.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic hotel environment, particularly during the pre-opening phase, to establish and maintain robust IT infrastructure.
