The Role: Inventory Supervisor

XPL Solutions is seeking a Full-time Inventory Supervisor to join its operations in Al Qassim. This role is crucial for leading and managing the end-to-end inventory within a medical warehouse. The supervisor will ensure that physical stock aligns precisely with client systems, specifically NUPCO, and will oversee all aspects of stock movement, including receiving, issuing, and destruction processes, alongside managing daily cycle stock count activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow and execute the Cycle Count Stock checking plan (monthly, weekly, daily).
  • Conduct daily checks of receiving and consumption stock.
  • Perform physical item checks to ensure actual stock matches system reports.
  • Issue Physical Stock reports to relevant inventory officers.
  • Identify and investigate variations in stock quantity between physical stock and system records.
  • Ensure batch-managed items have accurate expiry dates recorded in the system.
  • Collaborate with the operation manager and client representative to resolve and finalize stock quantity variations.
  • Issue Variation Stock reports and track adjustments on the client system.
  • Validate non-moving stock and create a catalogue for it when requested.
  • Identify and install pin locations within the warehouse racking system.
  • Maintain and monitor warehouse processes in accordance with quality and WMS system requirements.
  • Validate expiry stock and instruct the warehouse team to shift expired goods to the designated expiry area.
  • Supervise the destruction process of expired stock.
  • Adhere to client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational procedures.
  • Manage various inventory activities, including Cycle Count Procedure, Goods Returned Procedure, Recall procedure, handling of counterfeit products, Traceability procedure, Preservation Procedure, and Quarantine.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in inventory management or a related field. A comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain principles and exposure to ERP and other world-class forecasting and planning tools are essential. Familiarity with medical items and NUPCO procedures in warehouse operations is also required.
