About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a full-time Quality Manager to join their team in Medina, Central Area District. This role is responsible for implementing quality assurance processes that align with the company's mission and brand standards, meet customer needs, ensure employee satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement at the property level. The Quality Manager champions the quality function and builds support for change within the organization.

Managing Quality Assurance Goals

• Coaches managers on adopting the Total Quality Management leadership style.
• Conducts monthly audits to ensure compliance with company and brand standards.
• Makes and executes necessary decisions to ensure property progress toward goal achievement.
• Directs property quality efforts to address critical customer requirements.
• Assists with regional and/or company-wide implementation of company best practices.
• Facilitates process improvement teams, ensuring the use of systematic processes and that improvements are achievable and measurable.

Managing Quality Tools and Data

• Ensures that management practices at all levels are aligned with quality tools by providing training in quality sciences.
• Uses data collection methods to compile, display, track, and analyze defect trends.
• Demonstrates and communicates key drivers of guest satisfaction for the brand’s target customer.
• Analyzes issues and identifies trends.

Enhancing the Guest Experience

• Reviews guest feedback with the leadership team and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken.
• Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.
• Maintains visibility and interfaces with customers regularly to obtain feedback on product quality, service levels, and overall satisfaction.
• Models service behaviors that meet or exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or a related field. The role requires a professional who can effectively implement and manage quality processes within a dynamic hospitality environment.
