About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Technician Carpenter to join their team in Medina (المدينة المنورة), Al Madinah. This full-time role involves performing a variety of carpentry, repair, and maintenance tasks to ensure the property's structures and finishes are in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Build, install, and repair walls and partitions, including drywall, wallpaper, millwork/molding, and faux finishing.
Install and repair various finishes, such as laminates.
Perform rough-in framing for doors, frames, windows, and cabinetry.
Repair, maintain, and construct wood structures including partitions, doors, furniture, and similar items throughout the property.
Execute miscellaneous minor repairs, such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
Order necessary items by completing requisitions, obtaining manager approval, and utilizing appropriate vendors.
Load, transport, and unload freight from elevators to designated areas using a hand truck.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Comfortable moving up and down a ladder.
