Agricultural Marketing Specialist

The Agricultural Marketing Specialist is responsible for marketing and selling the company's agricultural products (such as tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, and others). The role aims to achieve the highest possible return by building and maintaining strong relationships with traders and clients, alongside continuously monitoring market trends and price fluctuations to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

Key Responsibilities: 

·      Executing marketing and direct sales operations, and expanding distribution channels (for example, central markets, wholesale markets, hotels, and hypermarkets).

·      Actively seek new clients and traders while maintaining regular communication with existing customers to fulfill their needs and secure ongoing business.

·      Perform daily tracking of market price fluctuations and competitor movements, preparing periodic reports for management on market status.

·      Negotiate sales terms, prices, and quantities directly with traders and clients, finalizing sales agreements in accordance with company policies.

·      Follow up on product sorting and packaging processes on-site to ensure full compliance with target market specifications.

·      Coordinate directly with the production team regarding available supply, while tracking transportation, deliveries, and payment collections.

·    Propose practical marketing ideas and suggestions to management aimed at boosting sales volume and optimizing profitability.

Minimum requirements of role:

·      Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

·      Minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural product marketing and sales.

·      Strong hands-on knowledge of central fruit and vegetable markets and wholesale hubs.

·      A valid driving license.

·    Proficiency in using mobile applications, computers, and essential software.

Required Skills:

·      Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to deal effectively with traders and clients to secure optimal deals.

·      Ability to build strong business relationships and manage client communication effectively.

·      Technical understanding of vegetable quality standards, sorting, and grading processes.

·      Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic market environments and fast-moving fresh produce.

· Proficiency in preparing sales reports and analyzing daily price trends and market dynamics.

Job Location & Work Hours Details & Benefits:

·      Work Location:   Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

·      Travel & Mobility: Field travel inside and outside Madinah for sales and marketing visits, as well as expanding the client base based on business needs

·      Employment Type: Full-Time

·      Work Days: 6 Days per Week

·      Work Hours: 8 Hours per day

·      Salary: A competitive salary, to be determined after the interview based on qualifications and experience.

Commissions & Incentives: Direct commissions and attractive bonuses upon achieving and exceeding sales targets (KPIs).
