About the Role

Accor is seeking a Cluster Director Food & Beverage to lead culinary operations for Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This role involves shaping dining experiences across multiple luxury properties within a significant new tourism development.

The Red Sea Project Context

Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea is part of the Red Sea Project, a nature-focused resort development. The properties will feature 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts including an overwater restaurant, and a spa. The location is adjacent to an 18-hole championship golf course and is situated on 200km of coastline with over 90 islands, volcanic landscapes, marine habitats, and archaeological sites, emphasizing sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance food and beverage offerings across Raffles & Fairmont properties in the Red Sea region.
  • Oversee the financial performance of all F&B outlets, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Lead and develop F&B teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction across all dining venues.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef on menu development, incorporating local flavors and international trends.
  • Establish and maintain strict quality control and food safety standards.
  • Manage inventory and supply chain for efficient operations and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local suppliers and industry partners.
  • Stay informed of global F&B trends and implement best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop and execute staff training and development programs.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of point-of-sale (POS) systems and technology solutions.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives and environmental best practices in F&B operations.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive F&B revenue and brand visibility.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality F&B management with a proven track record.
  • Extensive experience managing multi-outlet operations within high-end hotels or resorts.
  • Strong financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, P&L management, and revenue optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop large teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity for decisive action in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of Middle Eastern cuisine and culture, alongside international F&B trends.
  • Previous experience working in the Middle East is required.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is considered a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing F&B operations for both Raffles and Fairmont properties within the Red Sea Project.
