About the Role

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing daily food and beverage operations, leading a team, and ensuring high service standards within a luxury resort setting. The role requires a professional who can maintain operational efficiency while contributing to outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage food and beverage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain consistent service quality and operational standards across all F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage costs, and implement strategies to optimize profitability while upholding quality standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all food preparation and service areas.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations during peak service periods.
  • Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
  • Analyze operational metrics and prepare performance reports, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage reservations, special events, and customized dining experiences.
  • Maintain organized records of staff schedules, inventory, and financial reports.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in food and beverage operations, with a significant portion in a supervisory or management capacity within the hospitality sector.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and service standards.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food service operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decisiveness in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Multilingual abilities, with Arabic and English preferred, are advantageous.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Umluj, within the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a luxury resort environment.
