About the Role

Raffles The Red Sea, part of the Raffles Hotels & Resorts portfolio, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join its team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing all food and beverage operations within a luxury resort setting, focusing on delivering exceptional service standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership to manage and develop a diverse team while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Role Context

Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea is situated within the Red Sea Project, a nature-focused resort development. The property will feature 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, and extensive amenities. The resort is committed to sustainable development along an untouched coastline, an archipelago of islands, and areas of natural and archaeological significance. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will play a key role in establishing and maintaining high standards across the resort's culinary and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate food and beverage staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and service protocols.
• Maintain rigorous quality standards for food presentation, beverage preparation, and guest service.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor food and beverage costs, and implement cost-control measures.
• Train, onboard, and develop team members through coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations for optimal workflow and service efficiency.
• Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor key performance metrics, including guest feedback and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular operational and financial reports to management.
• Customize service experiences to meet guest preferences while maintaining operational standards.
• Participate in menu planning and promotional activities to drive revenue.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams in a hospitality environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards, health codes, and sanitation best practices.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, cost control, and financial accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or upscale resort environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and cultural practices is preferred.
• Multilingual capabilities, with Arabic and English fluency being advantageous, are preferred.
• Knowledge of beverage management, wine service, or mixology is preferred.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Umluj, within the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia. The role is based at Raffles The Red Sea, a new luxury resort development.
