About the Role

Coastal Transportation Services Co., a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is seeking a Manager - Micro Mobility Operations. This full-time position, based in Umluj, will oversee the operational planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of micromobility services across the organization’s properties. The role is integral to ensuring the seamless delivery of solutions such as buggies and e-bikes, supporting the broader Mobility strategy.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Manager - Micro Mobility Operations is accountable for service delivery, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and operational efficiency within a 24/7 operational environment. This position drives innovation and technology adoption within micromobility operations, ensuring services align with the company's vision for redefining transportation through cutting-edge and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily micromobility operations across various service types and locations.
  • Ensure service continuity, asset availability, and operational resilience.
  • Support the integration of new mobility modes as part of service expansion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational queries, escalations, and service coordination.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including Land Operations, TOCC, Maintenance, and Projects.
  • Liaise with vendors and partners to facilitate service delivery and infrastructure readiness.
  • Develop structured operational plans and asset deployment strategies to support service expansion.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and operational documentation.
  • Provide regular operational updates, service performance reports, and improvement proposals.
  • Ensure consistent communication across teams and with leadership.

Team Leadership and Performance Management

  • Lead supervisory staff, operators, and support teams within the micromobility network.
  • Establish clear expectations and performance standards focused on safety and customer service.
  • Oversee staff training, onboarding, and scheduling to meet service demands.
  • Monitor service metrics and implement improvement plans to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Implement incident management protocols and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess experience in operations or transport leadership, with a preference for backgrounds in micromobility or fleet services. A proven ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility environments is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are required to foster collaboration across functions and resolve challenges efficiently. An operational mindset, coupled with adaptability and resourcefulness, is key to success in this role, demonstrating a commitment to service excellence.
