Maximo Engineer

About the Role

BYD is seeking an IBM Maximo Specialist to support maintenance and asset management activities at a project site in Bishah, 'Asir. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, managing maintenance work orders, and supporting preventive maintenance planning.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage work orders by creating, updating, tracking, and closing maintenance work orders in IBM Maximo, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all relevant information.
• Support preventive maintenance by assisting with the preparation, scheduling, and tracking of PM plans, maintenance schedules, and routine inspection tasks.
• Oversee asset management by maintaining and updating equipment master data, asset registers, equipment hierarchies, and maintenance records within Maximo.
• Coordinate maintenance planning with site engineers and technicians to follow up on maintenance activities, work order progress, outstanding tasks, and equipment maintenance requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on work order status, preventive maintenance completion, outstanding maintenance activities, and asset-related information.
• Review Maximo records to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with established maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance histories, inspection records, equipment documentation, and other relevant technical records in the system.
• Work closely with the operations and maintenance team to ensure timely updates of maintenance activities and proper documentation of completed work.
• Identify opportunities to improve Maximo data quality, work order workflows, maintenance planning, and overall system utilization.
• Support compliance with project maintenance procedures, HSE requirements, and applicable asset management standards.

Required Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in IBM Maximo for maintenance and asset management.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and data management.
