Join Jumeirah as a General Cashier!
We are a global leader in luxury hospitality, renowned for our exceptional service and distinctive experiences. At Jumeirah The Red Sea, we are looking for a talented General Cashier to join our Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily receipts and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial procedures and policies.
  • Handle daily cash transactions, process expense claims payments, and issue cash advances.
  • Prepare daily cash transaction reports for review by the Finance Manager.
  • Verify transaction accuracy and ensure proper documentation and approval processes.
  • Control all receipts from the Jumeirah Village Mini Market and coordinate cash deposit procedures.

Candidate Profile:
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Finance department.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Purpose:
As a General Cashier, you will assist the Sr. Financial Analyst and Income Auditor in managing the resort's accounting operations. Ensure all financial data is accurately maintained and uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in our financial dealings.

General Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all finance activities comply with local laws and standards.
  • Maintain clear communication within reporting lines.
  • Promote a dynamic work environment based on teamwork and respect.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and community activities.
  • Contribute positively to company targets and projects.

Key Operational Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily banking procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Prepare general cashier summary reports and process petty cash as needed.
  • Handle payroll processing and address auditors’ queries efficiently.
  • Record all financial transactions per property regulations.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications: BSc/BA in Finance or Economics
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role at a 5-star resort, preferably in Saudi Arabia
Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi taxation and financial IT systems
Competencies: Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills
Technical Skills: Financial management, audit, analytical skills
Attitude: Positive, flexible, empathetic with strong work ethics
