About the Director of Food and Beverage Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage for the InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality service and exceptional guest experiences within the resort's diverse offerings.

The InterContinental The Red Sea Resort is situated within one of the world’s luxury tourism developments, amidst an archipelago of over 90 pristine islands. The resort features 210 sea-facing rooms with direct beach access and offers guests seven distinct gastronomic experiences, alongside extensive pools, recreational facilities, a spa, a health club, and dedicated spaces for meetings and events for leisure and business travellers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and delegate daily duties for the team of hospitality professionals.
• Maintain food and beverage equipment, facilities, and stock levels to ensure guest and corporate experiences.
• Manage food and beverage standards in alignment with responsible business practices.
• Work closely with the finance team to set, monitor, and refine budgets and drive revenue.
• Oversee multiple teams, kitchens, and food outlets capable of catering to up to 500 people.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Some college education and/or advanced training in food and beverage management.
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in the local language is required.
• Possession of alcohol awareness certification and/or a food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as mandated by local law.
