Role Summary

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Host / Hostess of Saudi Nationality to join the team in Umluj, Tabuk. This full-time position involves managing guest reception and seating within the dining outlets, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all guests. The role requires 0-1 years of experience and reports directly to the Outlet Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage dining room layout, including table/seat/section numbers, proper table setups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range, and dress code.
• Handle restaurant reservation procedures, including taking, recording, and confirming reservations and cancellations.
• Monitor daily house count, arrivals, departures, VIPs, and scheduled in-house group activities.
• Answer telephones using correct salutations and etiquette, communicating reservation changes to management.
• Ensure menus and check folders are clean and available in sufficient quantity, and maintain a clean and organized hostess stand.
• Review the reservation book, pre-assign designated tables, and follow up on special requests.
• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance, seat them according to the floor plan, and ensure satisfaction with their assigned table.
• Anticipate heavy business times and organize procedures to manage waiting lines effectively.
• Maintain positive guest relations, anticipate needs, and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Handle guest complaints following established procedures to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor and participate in clearing and resetting tables according to departmental procedures.
• Assist restaurant staff as needed to ensure optimal guest service and promote a cooperative working climate.
• Conduct systematic table visits during each meal period to ensure guest satisfaction and promote F&B outlets during downtime.
• Assist the Supervisor with cashiering procedures and menu printing, and be flexible to rotate within different F&B service outlets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi Nationality is required.
• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all department policies and service procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with hotel services and activities to accurately respond to guest inquiries.
• Successful completion of the training process.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, within the dynamic environment of Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea. The role involves working closely with the Outlet Manager and other restaurant staff to deliver high standards of guest service.
