About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Instructor Pilot (Advanced) to join their team in Tabuk. BAE Systems serves as the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor, providing equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. This includes the maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and training RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in the safe operation of their aircraft, equipment, and weapons. BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and the development of national capability through Saudi National Partner Companies.

Role Context and Responsibilities

In this full-time position, the Instructor Pilot (Advanced) will execute primary duties as a Hawk Instructor in accordance with RSAF and BAE Systems rules and regulations. This role involves delivering flying training instruction to RSAF and BAE students, adhering to RSAF/BAES SA rules, regulations, and guidelines. The position also requires maintaining professional discipline, assisting other squadron members, and managing flying-related publications and documentation.

• Following Head of Flying (HoF) King Faisal Air Base (KFAB) directives and flying governance requirements.
• Assisting the HoF (KFAB) with tasking as appropriate.
• Adhering to IST Instructional Guidelines and standards.
• Providing input and assistance to IST tasking where appropriate.
• Following Squadron Supervisor directives, flying governance, and training delivery requirements.
• Developing and maintaining diplomatic relations with RSAF Officers and Trainees.
• Executing secondary duties as assigned by the Squadron Supervisor.
• Maintaining computer competency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Managing, distributing, and amending flying-related publications and documents.
• Handling instructor and trainee record keeping and management of relevant training documentation.
• Maintaining Squadron History records.
• Assisting with Squadron planning and scheduling.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the necessary qualifications and experience to effectively perform the duties of an Instructor Pilot (Advanced).

• Qualified as a Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI), Qualified Weapons Instructor (QWI), Fighter Combat Instructor (FCI), or equivalent on Fast Jet aircraft.
• Must have completed one instructional tour.
• Currency and instructional experience commensurate with similar RAF roles.
• Computer competency in Microsoft Office Programs.
