The Role of Kids Club Supervisor

As a Kids Club Supervisor, you will oversee the resort’s recreational programs, ensuring all activities and events are delivered to the highest standards. This full-time position involves managing a team of activity coordinators and guides, planning and executing daily activities, and ensuring seamless coordination with other resort departments. You will play a key role in curating and enhancing the overall guest experience through engaging, innovative, and inclusive recreational offerings, working closely with the Recreation Manager to align programs with brand values. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily recreational and entertainment activities for guests of all ages, ensuring they are well-organized, engaging, and aligned with resort standards.
• Develop, plan, and schedule a diverse range of activities and events in line with guest preferences, resort offerings, and seasonal themes, including the introduction of new concepts.
• Ensure all activities adhere to the resort’s safety guidelines, conduct regular risk assessments, and train the team on safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Collect and analyze guest feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and programs, addressing concerns promptly to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of guest participation, monitor inventory and supplies for activity-related materials, and manage the activity schedule for operational efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting for activities, ensuring expenses are within allocated limits and activities are cost-effective.

Team Leadership and Guest Engagement

• Supervise and mentor a team of activity coordinators and guides, providing clear direction, motivation, and support in a collaborative work environment.
• Conduct regular team briefings and training sessions to ensure the team is well-prepared and knowledgeable about daily activities and safety protocols.
• Monitor the performance of team members, offering constructive feedback to enhance activity delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service, interacting with guests to gather feedback, encourage participation, and create personalized experiences.

Interdepartmental Collaboration

• Collaborate with other departments, such as Spa & Wellness, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping, to integrate activities into the resort’s overall guest experience.
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to promote recreational offerings and increase guest awareness of available activities.
• Build strong relationships with other resort departments, ensuring activities are integrated into wider operational strategies.
• Assist with other resort events and programs as required, contributing to the overall guest experience and supporting special events.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within hospitality or recreation, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to guest satisfaction and safety. You will be adept at planning diverse activities, managing a team, and fostering a collaborative work environment. A proactive approach to guest feedback and continuous improvement is essential for this role at Red Sea Global Hospitality.
