About the Opportunity

Envision Energy is seeking a Service Director for the MEA/Africa Region. This full-time position is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) management across the region.

Role Overview

The Service Director will be responsible for overseeing all O&M activities within the MEA/Africa Region. This includes building and managing a high-performing international O&M team, ensuring operational excellence, and optimizing costs while maintaining compliance with international standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and lead an international O&M team, covering recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and personnel deployment.
• Organize team training and technical exchange activities to enhance overall skills and professional knowledge.
• Ensure O&M operations comply with international safety standards and regulations, establishing a robust safety management system.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure the quality and reliability of O&M operations.
• Prepare and control the O&M budget, manage expenses, and reduce O&M costs.
• Analyze cost data to identify opportunities and measures for cost optimization.
• Establish strong working relationships with international suppliers and service providers, coordinating resources for smooth O&M operations.
• Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders, including local government authorities and grid companies, to ensure compliant operations and a favorable external environment.
• Collect and analyze O&M data, evaluate wind farm performance, and provide regular O&M reports and improvement recommendations.
• Utilize data analysis to optimize O&M strategies and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in O&M management for wind power projects; international project experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with international O&M standards and practices within the wind power industry.

Essential Skills

• Fluency in English; additional international language skills are considered a plus.
• Proficiency in relevant O&M management software and tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coordinate a multicultural team.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills to enable effective collaboration with international stakeholders.
• High adaptability and resilience to handle various challenges and changes in international projects.
