Financial Operations Analyst

About the Role

Eram Talent, a global talent acquisition solutions provider, is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst for a full-time position with one of its prestigious clients. This role is based onsite in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for the invoice verification and accounting operations related to active contracts and projects. This includes verifying, tracking, reporting, analyzing, and recording all contractual and associated financial expenditures.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify invoices for accuracy against Purchase Orders and contract terms, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
• Ensure complete documentation for all invoices and financial actions, obtain necessary approvals, create SAP entries, and correctly charge costs to assigned WBS/Cost Centers and GL codes. Support the Finance department in payment finalization.
• Develop relationships with proponents, vendors, and internal departments. Address customer requests and queries, resolve discrepancies (*, PO extensions, invalid charging codes), investigate slow approvals, and assist with past due or denied invoices.
• Provide accurate reports and detailed analysis on invoices, vendor financial data, trends, and performance across contracts and projects using business tools and analytical techniques.
• Continuously review business processes and systems to recommend practical improvements aligned with industry best practices.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of the employee’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in a similar financial operations, accounting, or project finance role.

Work Location

This position requires onsite presence in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.
