Technical Manager

About the Role

SEVEN (Saudi Entertainment Ventures) is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee all technical requirements for attraction rides and devices within its complexes. This full-time position is based in the Makkah Province, specifically covering locations such as Taif and Jazan. The role involves active participation from the detailed design stage through to installation, ensuring operational readiness and adherence to maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operation and project attraction teams, as well as project management consultants.
• Maintain close communication with ride manufacturers engaged with the SEVEN portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with international safety practices and local regulatory requirements in KSA.
• Manage technical requirements for rides and devices throughout their implementation.
• Support the maintenance strategy in alignment with the business operation plan for each complex.
• Review and provide feedback on Concept, Schematic, and Detail Design package reports, adhering to SEVEN’s Project Strategy and protocols.
• Evaluate local and international market opportunities, including contractors, specialist suppliers, and certified spare parts distributors.
• Work with the QHSE team on the development and implementation of ISO systems and certifications.
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with maintenance strategy management, including planned and corrective maintenance, KPI tracking, annual certifications, emergency procedures, calibration schedules, technical team development, spare parts strategy, asset management, and O&M manual management.
• Develop and review technical documents such as SOPs, manuals, troubleshooting guides, evacuation procedures, and PM checklists.
• Prepare monthly operational reports.
• Develop, forecast, monitor, and achieve operational budgets, including CAPEX and pre-opening expenses.
• Develop and achieve departmental and company objectives, action plans, and KPIs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 8 years of experience in a relevant technical management role.
• Demonstrated experience in managing technical requirements for attraction rides and devices.
• Experience working with consultants and manufacturers during design and installation phases.
• Familiarity with international safety practices and local regulatory frameworks.
