About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking an Attendant Recreation to join our team in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time role is responsible for engaging guests in recreational activities, ensuring a positive and safe environment. Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Role Purpose

The Attendant Recreation plays a key role in enhancing the guest experience by actively promoting and facilitating participation in various recreation activities. This position focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing essential information, and upholding safety standards within the recreational facilities. The role involves direct interaction with guests to encourage engagement and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Foster a fun and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
• Provide comprehensive information regarding available recreation facilities and activities.
• Promote and enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure guest and member safety and welfare.
• Monitor activity within the recreational facility and respond appropriately to emergencies in accordance with operating procedures.
• Identify and report situations where guests may be unable to safely participate in an activity to a supervisor or manager.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others, including answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team objectives.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and Work Demands

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 50 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in recreation, hospitality, or a related customer service role.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Proficiency in using computers and/or point of sale systems for work-related tasks.
• Commitment to following company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
