About Shangri-La Jeddah

Shangri-La Jeddah is situated on the new Jeddah Waterfront along the shores of the Red Sea, establishing a new standard for luxury in the city. The hotel features 203 stylish rooms and suites, alongside 17 luxury serviced apartments. It offers four restaurants and lounges, including the legendary Shang Palace, a dedicated Kids Club, and is conveniently located near Jeddah’s popular landmarks and the Red Sea Mall. The property also includes 116 privately owned Burj Assila Residences.

The Opportunity: Director of Spa

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking a Director of Spa for a full-time position. This leadership role is responsible for leading the overall strategic, operational, and financial performance of the spa division. The Director will drive the development and delivery of an exceptional luxury wellness experience, ensuring alignment with Shangri-La’s brand standards, outstanding guest satisfaction, and strong commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily spa operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
Achieve spa revenue, profitability, and budget targets.
Develop strategies to increase treatment revenue, memberships, wellness programs, and retail sales.
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to strengthen the spa’s position.
Ensure every guest receives personalized, luxury service throughout their spa journey.
Maintain consistently high guest satisfaction scores and service standards.
Implement improvements based on guest feedback and market expectations.
Ensure compliance with Shangri-La standards, local regulations, hygiene, and wellness protocols.
Optimize resources, facilities, inventory, and operational procedures.
Recruit, train, coach, and retain talented spa professionals.
Create a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the spa team.
Develop leadership capabilities within the spa team.
Represent the spa professionally within the luxury hospitality and wellness community.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in luxury spa management.
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the spa industry.

Work Environment and Expectations

This role is based in Jeddah and operates within a dynamic luxury hotel environment. The successful candidate must be willing to work extended duty hours as required to meet operational demands and ensure exceptional service delivery.
