Engineering Manager

About the Role

Globe 24-7 is partnering with a leading data center infrastructure company to recruit an Engineering Manager. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and involves managing engineering activities within the organization to ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering activities within the organization.
• Plan and follow up on engineering activities according to project and operational requirements.
• Ensure engineering work and technical solutions comply with applicable standards, specifications, and company requirements.
• Ensure the technical quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables and documentation.
• Coordinate engineering resources and priorities based on project needs and deadlines.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to engineering personnel.
• Support project planning, execution, and follow-up from an engineering perspective.
• Ensure effective coordination between Engineering, Production, Project Management, and other relevant departments.
• Identify technical risks, challenges, and deviations, ensuring appropriate follow-up and corrective actions.
• Support technical problem-solving and decision-making throughout project execution.
• Ensure technical changes and deviations are appropriately evaluated, documented, and communicated.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Provide technical instructions and direction to engineering personnel.
• Review and evaluate technical solutions, engineering documentation, and deliverables.
• Request modifications or corrective actions when engineering work does not meet applicable technical or project requirements.
• Make technical decisions within the responsibilities and authority delegated to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Management training or 5–10 years of relevant management experience.
• Qualification as an Electrical or Civil Engineer or in a relevant technical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working in international or multicultural organizations.
• Competence or relevant experience in Project Management and Data Centers.
• Willingness to complete PSI training after employment in accordance with company requirements.
• Willingness to complete HSE training for Management after employment.
