About the Head Bartender Role

SARK Company is seeking a Head Bartender to join their team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing comprehensive bar operations and leading a team of bartenders to ensure high standards of service. The role requires a professional with a strong background in bartending and a commitment to the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Train and mentor bartenders on drink preparation, customer service protocols, and upselling techniques.
Create and update drink menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of necessary supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
Address customer complaints and issues professionally and promptly.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to offer suitable food and drink pairing options for guests.
Implement cost-saving measures and strategies to enhance profitability.
Conduct regular staff meetings for communication, performance review, and addressing concerns.
Stay informed on industry trends and new drink recipes, providing recommendations to improve the bar experience for guests.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bartender, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management capacity.
Extensive knowledge of various drink types, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in inventory management and cost control principles.
Fluency in English is required.
Ability to obtain a bartender's license in Saudi Arabia.
