About the Role

Olive Tree Consulting Group is seeking a Junior HTML CSS Developer to join its advisory team. This full-time, permanent, and fully remote position supports a major Saudi partner with organizational growth initiatives, primarily within the Makkah and Jeddah regions. The role focuses on transforming structured management ideas into clear, functional digital layouts, contributing to meaningful management projects by presenting frameworks accessibly. This involves translating strategies into digital formats for daily team use, utilizing clean code to organize and make information accessible, and collaborating with advisors to reflect management system logic in client-facing digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, semantic HTML and CSS to build internal resource pages and documentation hubs for clients.
• Translate organizational charts and process maps into responsive web layouts that are easy for leadership teams to read.
• Collaborate with the advisory team to convert meeting notes and strategy documents into structured digital archives.
• Maintain and update existing digital templates to ensure they remain functional and visually consistent.
• Test layouts across different browsers and devices to ensure a smooth experience for the end user.
• Help organize internal documentation libraries to facilitate the discovery and reuse of successful frameworks.
• Participate in brief synchronization meetings to understand the specific needs of the Saudi partner and how digital deliveries support them.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience and demonstrate the following:

• A solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 fundamentals, including layout techniques such as Flexbox or Grid.
• A preference for simplicity and clarity in code and design rather than unnecessary complexity.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Good written communication skills and the ability to explain technical choices to non-technical colleagues.
• A curious mindset and a willingness to learn about the management and structural issues solved for clients.
• The ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying aligned with team goals.
• A patient approach to troubleshooting and refining layouts until they are accurate.

Helpful Background

• Previous experience with personal projects, school assignments, or internships involving web development.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and optimizing sites for mobile devices.
• Basic knowledge of version control tools, such as Git.
• An interest in information architecture or how people interact with digital text.
• Experience using Markdown or basic static site generators.
