Role Overview

The Production Planner is responsible for accurately determining the quantity of materials required and establishing optimal order dates to meet the established production schedule. This role involves close collaboration with vendors to ensure that all necessary materials are available for production processes in a timely manner.

• Set and achieve daily operational objectives that impact the job area.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies clearly to both internal and external parties.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems within existing systems and processes, implementing minor changes as required.

Professional Scope and Contribution

This position functions as an individual contributor, without direct responsibility for leading other personnel. The Production Planner will apply a broad knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline, or advanced technical and operational practices. The scope of knowledge application is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
