About the Program Manager Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a full-time Program Manager for Launch and Expansion within the Amazon Now Launches team in Jeddah. This role is central to scaling and expanding the Amazon Now network by managing strategic, large-scale project management initiatives for new facility launches.

The Launch Team's Mission

The Launch team is instrumental in scaling and expanding the Amazon network to deliver best-in-class service to customers. This team coordinates project plans and tracks execution across diverse stakeholders, including business, technology, design, procurement, and construction teams. The Program Manager will own strategic and tactical, cross-functional operations projects related to new facility launches, focusing on scoping project plans, developing processes, mitigating schedule risks, and driving execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Work backwards from the customer to scope and define program requirements and critical milestones.
• Demonstrate a high level of ownership to drive multiple time-sensitive action items simultaneously through multiple teams.
• Own program trackers to communicate progress and updates to internal/external stakeholders.
• Problem-solve with a high degree of ambiguity and operate in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape.
• Provide end-to-end project coordination, managing multiple stakeholders to ensure all "Road to Launch" tasks are completed as per the program.
• Collaborate with and influence team members, work with internal and external stakeholders, and present projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
• Gather and analyze data on launch performance results.
• Establish and develop initiatives to support expansion strategies.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• 2+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• 2+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Project software.
• Experience with material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong cross-team coordination, project management, and communication skills to succeed in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
