The Role of Shared Services Manager

Waad Education is seeking an experienced Shared Services Manager to join its team. This full-time role is crucial for supporting the effective delivery and management of shared services across all educational institutions in Jeddah and Makkah. The manager will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, enhancing service efficiency, and ensuring seamless support across all shared services functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement shared services strategies to enhance efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across various functions including HR, procurement, IT, marketing, accounting, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards in service delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to maximize value and performance.
• Lead process optimization initiatives and implement best practices across all shared services functions.
• Collaborate effectively with leadership and individual school units to understand their needs and deliver seamless support services.
• Lead, manage, and develop the shared services team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is considered a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in managing shared services or operations, preferably within the education sector or related industries.
• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong knowledge of HR, finance, procurement, and IT service management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results effectively in a fast-paced environment.
