The Ritz-Carlton, a distinguished hospitality brand, is seeking a dedicated Spa Therapist to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves providing high-quality massage services and body treatments to guests, ensuring a professional and comfortable experience.

Role Summary

The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering a range of spa services, assessing guest needs, and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. This role requires staying current with industry techniques and ensuring guest comfort and safety throughout treatments. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments tailored to guest needs.
• Assess guest contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before commencing services.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange the workstation and treatment room.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room.
• Adhere to the daily time schedule for appointments.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures.
• Maintain current skills and licensure as per regional requirements.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and communicate professionally.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Licensure: A valid State or Regional Massage License is required.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects; and lift or move objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, requiring interaction with guests and adherence to high service standards within a luxury hospitality setting. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized treatment space and working collaboratively with the spa team.
