Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Valvoline Global Operations is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for managing the company's liquidity, funding, and financial risk, ensuring the availability of funds for operational and strategic requirements. The Treasury Analyst will also oversee daily treasury operations, including payment processing and receipt application, contributing to the financial stability of the organization.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the company's financial resources effectively. This involves developing accurate cash flow forecasts, maintaining strong banking relationships, and managing foreign exchange exposure. The Treasury Analyst plays a critical part in safeguarding the financial health of Valvoline Global Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate payments by posting from SAP into banking portals, ensuring all payments are made by their due dates.
• Apply receipts to invoices in a timely manner, including adjusting debit/credit notes and tracking vendor/customer balance adjustments.
• Follow up with the sales team, particularly with Saudi Aramco, to ensure Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) are posted and payments are processed.
• Collect necessary data for cash call letters to the parent company for cash injections.
• Process Business Partner (BP) approvals for additions and modifications in the system, including updating VAT particulars, transportation zones, and bank letters.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in treasury or a related financial field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage liquidity, funding, and financial risk.
• Proficiency in developing cash flow forecasts and managing banking relationships.
• Experience with SAP for payment processing and financial data management.
