About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking an Accountant, General Ledger, to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining and reconciling specific accounts, resolving supplier/customer dispute accounts, and preparing periodic financial closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Document financial transactions by accurately entering account information.
• Recommend financial actions through the analysis of various accounting options.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing relevant documents.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Secure financial information by completing database backups.
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by ensuring financial information remains confidential.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, within the Panda Retail Company – Savola Group.
