The Role of Accountant

Suliyan Trading Company is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance Department in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role is essential for supporting the company’s daily accounting operations and ensuring the maintenance of accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and review daily accounting entries and financial transactions.
• Manage and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and outstanding balances.
• Issue and review invoices, ensuring all supporting financial documentation is complete.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding transactions.
• Review expenses, advances, and petty cash, ensuring timely settlement.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Support VAT and electronic invoicing requirements within the scope of the role.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure financial information is complete and accurate.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be accurate, organized, and accountable. Practical experience is required in areas such as accounting entries, accounts payable and receivable management, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and expense processing. The role also requires the ability to support financial reporting, closing activities, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

Work Environment and Location

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and operates on a full-time basis within the Finance Department. The role involves collaboration with various internal departments to ensure financial data integrity.
