About the Role

Omar Kassem Al-Esayi Marketing Co. Ltd. (OKAM) is seeking a Brand Manager – Tuna Category to join their team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is central to driving brand performance within the Tuna category. The role encompasses brand strategy, market insights, product development, and commercial execution.

Brand Strategy and Marketing

  • Develop and execute annual brand plans in alignment with company strategic objectives.
  • Manage marketing budgets and evaluate brand performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize return on investment (ROI).
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors' activities, including pricing, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and communication plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent brand positioning.

Product Innovation and Portfolio Management

  • Identify and lead new product innovation opportunities from concept development through successful market launch.
  • Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure effective commercialization of new products.
  • Manage the Tuna product portfolio to achieve sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership.
  • Monitor product lifecycle performance and recommend portfolio expansion, optimization, or rationalization based on business performance.
  • Lead the development of new tuna products, including flavors, packaging formats, and pack sizes, based on consumer insights and market trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement of existing products to enhance quality, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Commercial Planning and Performance

  • Develop pricing strategies, promotional plans, and commercial discount programs in collaboration with Sales and Finance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and discounts to maximize sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Develop a deep understanding of regional demand across Saudi Arabia and recommend commercial strategies.
  • Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams to forecast demand, ensure product availability, and optimize inventory levels across all sales channels.
  • Develop channel-specific growth strategies for Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, and Food Service.
  • Monitor sales, profitability, market share, KPIs, and ROI for the Tuna category.
  • Prepare business performance reports and recommend action plans to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders for successful product launches and commercial execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in FMCG Food or Seafood categories is highly preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Brand Manager will operate within a collaborative team environment, working with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve category objectives.
