About the Role

Serviceplan Group Middle East is seeking a Business Analyst to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position where the successful candidate will serve as a critical link between client needs and the technical delivery team. The role involves ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, translated, and implemented into effective solutions.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the actual operational processes and identifying the client's underlying problems, rather than just the stated ones. This requires a structured and curious approach to gather information, document findings clearly, and prevent any misinterpretations between business objectives and technological solutions. The role ensures that developed solutions directly address identified challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through various methods, including interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs.
• Map existing "as-is" processes and design practical, implementable "to-be" workflows.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured specifications for the delivery team.
• Validate that the solutions being developed effectively solve the identified business problems.
• Support the preparation of workshops and facilitate working sessions with client teams.
• Identify potential gaps, contradictions, and risks within requirements before they escalate into delivery issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in a role such as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or a similar capacity.
• Demonstrated strong requirements engineering skills, including conducting interviews, writing clear user stories, and producing structured specifications.
• Experience in process mapping and optimization, with the ability to analyze and improve workflows.
• Client-facing experience, including the ability to lead working sessions and manage expectations effectively.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Clear and structured written communication skills, producing documentation that is utilized rather than merely filed.
• A curious and structured mindset, consistently focusing on the client's actual problem.
• Preferred experience in digital, MarTech, CRM, or marketing operations environments.
