About the Role

Shangri-La Hotel is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision at Shangri-La Jeddah, a luxury waterfront destination located in Jeddah. This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager and is central to maintaining the hotel's culinary standards.

Culinary Leadership and Scope

The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations across six distinct outlets, including two specialty restaurants, as well as the hotel's banquet facilities and in-room dining services. This role is instrumental in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, upholding operational excellence, and contributing to strong financial performance.

Core Responsibilities

Champion culinary creativity while ensuring consistency and quality across all food and beverage outlets.
Inspire and develop the culinary brigade, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional excellence.
Curate menus and seasonal promotions in alignment with the brand's culinary positioning.
Lead large-scale banquet operations, ensuring precision and refinement in execution.
Drive food cost efficiency and productivity while maintaining high culinary standards.
Uphold stringent levels of hygiene, food safety, and sustainability practices.
Engage with guests to understand preferences and continuously enhance the dining experience.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant culinary leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive culinary operations across multiple outlets.
Proven leadership skills in developing and guiding a culinary team.
