About the Role

MAFAS-Mahmal Facilities Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Makkah, with work also extending to Jeddah. This full-time role involves overseeing and coordinating electrical maintenance activities within a facility management context, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities, including both preventive and corrective maintenance.
Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, panels, generators, UPS systems, and lighting.
Monitor maintenance activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
Review electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare and review maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives for smooth execution of maintenance.
Monitor the condition and performance of electrical equipment and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, applicable codes, standards, and HSE requirements.
Support the planning and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
Follow up on work orders, breakdowns, and maintenance requests, ensuring timely closure.
Assist in managing spare parts, materials, and tools required for electrical maintenance.
Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and technical assessments as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
Previous experience in Facility Management is mandatory, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience in both preventive and corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of HSE requirements and electrical safety standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah. The role involves working within a dynamic facility management environment, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
